หลังจากนั่งดูบอลโลกคู่บราซิลเหนื่อยหนักกว่าจะชนะเกาหลีเหนือได้ 2-1 ก่อนที่จะนอน ผมเปิด message ที่ Chase Jarvis ส่งมาทาง Facebook เกี่ยวกับ blog entry ใหม่ของเขาที่พูดถึงการพดคุยของ chase กับ Zack Arias เกี่ยวกับประสบการณ์กว่าจะมาเป็นช่างภาพอาชีพ
เพราะวิดิโอนี้ทำให้ผมหายง่วงเป็นปลิดทิ้ง และทำให้ผมต้องรีบเขียน entry นี้ในเว็บของผมเองอันนี้เพื่อให้คนที่แวะเข้ามาได้มีโอกาสดู และเป็นการทำให้ผมหาวิดิโอนี้ดูเองได้ง่ายๆ ขึ้นด้วย (ฮ่าๆๆๆๆ)

What Every Aspiring Photographer Should Know
Words of wisdom from Cheryl Jacobs Nicolai
These are my thoughts, nothing more and nothing less.
I get asked all the time, during workshops, in e-mails, in private messages, what words of wisdom I would give to a new and aspiring photographer. Here’s my answer.
- Style is a voice, not a prop or an action. If you can buy it, borrow it, download it, or steal it, it is not a style. Don’t look outward for your style; look inward.
- Know your stuff. Luck is a nice thing, but a terrifying thing to rely on. It’s like money; you only have it when you don’t need it.
- Never apologize for your own sense of beauty. Nobody can tell you what you should love. Do what you do brazenly and unapologetically. You cannot build your sense of aesthetics on a concensus.
- Say no. Say it often. It may be difficult, but you owe it to yourself and your clients. Turn down jobs that don’t fit you, say no to overbooking yourself. You are no good to anyone when you’re stressed and anxious.
- Learn to say “I’m a photographer” out loud with a straight face. If you can’t say it and believe it, you can’t expect anyone else to, either.

dpBestflow เป็นเว็บที่ได้ทุนจาก US Library of Congress สำหรับโครงการ National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program (ทางนั้นเค้าลงทุนกับเรื่องพวกนี้กัน ไม่เหมือนแถวนี้)
อยากรู้อะไรเกี่ยวกับการถ่ายภาพแบบดิจิตอล ที่นี่เหมือนเป็นแหล่งความรู้แหล่งใหญ่มาก มีแทบทุกอย่างที่เอาไว้ใช้อ้างอิงได้เลยในที่เดียว แทบไม่ต้องไปหาจากแหล่งอื่นอีกเลย

มีตัวสั่งตัวนึง ตัวรับสามตัว ไม่ได้ใช้ ใครสนใจอยากเอาไปซ้อมมือบอกนะครับ แต่ขอให้เป็นคนที่เอาไปใช้จริงๆ นะ
อันที่จริง มี PT-04 หน้าตาเหมือนกันอีกชุดนึง แต่ใช้ได้กับ Nikon เท่านั้น แบตตัวรับหมด ใครเอาไปต้องหาแบตใส่เองเด้อ แบตหาซื้อได้ตามร้านกล้องดีๆ ไม่ก็ที่ร้านอมรครับ
